“Putin has never refused to meet with Zelenskyy,” said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with Serbian media, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
“Putin and Zelenskyy need to hold a meeting. However, Russia needs concreteness in negotiations. Now holding a meeting between Putin and Zelenskyy to exchange views would be unproductive,” he said.
Lavrov said that Putin and Zelenskyy could meet only after concrete results achieved in the Russian-Ukrainian talks to confirm those results.
