German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has urged Russian President Vladimir Putin to work for a ceasefire in Ukraine, he said at a joint press conference with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, APA reports citing TASS.

“Together, we urge Putin to agree to a ceasefire, to allow the delivery of humanitarian aid, and to hold genuine peace talks,” Scholz said.

He claimed that the OSCE members had agreed to work together for common security in Europe.
