The first and last ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Ottoman Empire, Yusif Vezir Chemanzaminli, wrote the novel “Between Two Flames”. The fact that we have published it under the title “The Novel about Shusha” has symbolic meanings in many respects. Readers of this novel will better understand the significance of the Shusha Declaration, signed on June 15 2021 by the distinguished heads of state of Turkey and Azerbaijan. In the secondary schools and universities of Turkey, we will do everything necessary to make the book more readable and accessible to the general public. I am sure that Turkish readers will receive the book with great sympathy.”
