The cultural center of the Azerbaijani people – the city of Shusha in Nagorno-Karabakh, was seriously damaged during the period of the Armenian occupation (1992-2020).
Only after the city was liberated as a result of heavy fighting on November 7-8, 2020, it became possible to assess the scale of the damage inflicted on the city by the Armenians.
An architect Adalyat Mammadov, who, even before the occupation of the city, participated in the restoration of architectural monuments of the city, visited the city after the liberation, and shared his impressions of the damage.
He talked about the architectural features of Shusha, and promised to restore all its historical monuments.
