In January, the volume of exchange transactions in the primary and secondary securities market exceeded 1.6 billion manats, which is 18 times higher than the figure for the same period last year. At the same time, only 0.18% of monthly turnover falls on the share of state and private debt securities (excluding state mortgage bonds), Turan was told in the Baku Stock Exchange. The Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank are the main players in the stock market in January. Within a month, the Ministry of Finance gained 146.5 million manats from the placement of bonds, and the CBA from the placement of notes – over 1 billion manats. The volume of the secondary market of these securities in January amounted to 162 million manats. In January, the BSE did not receive any requests from companies for the placement of corporate securities. The volume of the secondary market of shares for the month on 136 transactions amounted to 39.5 thousand manats. According to the National Depository Center, in January 40 transactions were registered here bypassing the exchange. Their volume amounted to 2 million 246 thousand manats and 40 thousand US dollars.
