The police threaten to disperse the rally in defense of Saleh Rustamov

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan stated that any uncoordinated action in the center of Baku will be stopped by police officers. This was stated by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Ehsan Zahidov due to the reports of an action to take place on December 15 in the center of Baku in defense of political prisoner Saleh Rustamov.

Zahidov stated that the police will take appropriate measures to protect public order.

The action under the slogan “Freedom to Saleh Rustamov” was proposed by the journalist Ganimat Zahid who lives abroad, on December 15 at 12:00.

Meanwhile, today is the 39th day of Rustamov’s hunger strike.
