The preliminary investigation into the case of the founder of the YouTube channel has ended “Khural.tv ” avaza Zeynalli. According to his wife Malahat Zeynalli (Gisuri), the lawyers’ request to terminate the criminal case was not satisfied. Zeynalli considers the charges against him unfounded and fabricated, for this reason he did not testify to the investigation and did not sign any document. At the same time, Zeynalli told his wife that he was “surprised by the contradictory testimony” at different stages of the investigation of another person involved in the case – lawyer Elchin Sadygov. The attempts to get comments from Sadygov were futile. * A lawyer Elchin Sadigov and founder of the “Khural TV” website Avaz Zeynalli were detained on September 10 on suspicion of taking a bribe, and on September 11 the court arrested both. On September 17, the Baku Court of Appeal transferred Sadygov to house arrest. Later, Zeynalli was charged with a new charge under the Article 312-1.1 (Illegal influence on the decision of an official (trade in authority) of the Criminal Code. On December 29, the term of Zeynalli’s arrest was extended for 3 months
