The State Fire Control Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations stops the operation of illegal charcoal kilns

The State Fire Control Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations continues to take appropriate measures to ensure fire safety in the country in accordance with its authorities.

In this context, during a joint raid by the employees of the State Fire Control Service and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, two kilns illegally producing charcoal were discovered in the territory of Nij settlement, Gabala district, near gardens and residential areas.

The exploitation of the kilns made by artisans, which do not meet the requirements of any fire safety regulations, creates a fire hazard in the area, creates a fertile ground for the spread of a possible fire to a large area in a short period of time, as well as an increase in the risk of danger to nature, human life and health.

Taking into account the above, the activity of illegally operating kilns has been stopped, and the fact has been formalized in the State Fire Control Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and official appeals have been made to the relevant state institutions to take appropriate measures in accordance with the legislation on the persons who have installed special kilns to produce charcoal near gardens and residential houses, contrary to the requirements of Article 2.1.1 of the “Rules of Fire Safety in the Forests of the Republic of Azerbaijan”.
