A 4.8-magnitude earthquake shook the Aegean Sea near the Datca region of Turkey’s Mugla province.

The statement came from the Turkish Emergency Management Agency (AFAD), AZERTAC reported.

The quake was recorded at 20:08 Turkish time. The quake was also felt in the surrounding areas. There are no reports of injuries or damage.

The tremors caused concern among the population.
