Three Azerbaijani boxers have guaranteed at least bronze medals after progressing to the semifinal of the AIBA World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia.

Alfonso Dominguez (86kg) will face Cuban Herich Ruiz Cordoba, Mahammad Abdullayev (+92kg) to lock horns with Armenian Davit Chaloyan, and Sarkhan Aliyev (71kg) to take on Ukrainian Yuri Zahariev in the semifinal bouts.
