Turkey’s annual inflation has surged to 36.08 percent year-on-year in December, the highest level since September 2002, the Turkish Statistical Institute revealed on Monday, APA reports.
The country’s consumer prices raised by 13.58 month-on-month in December, according to the data.
The producer price index increased by 19.08 percent on a monthly basis, with an annual rise of 79.89 percent, it said.
