General Staff of Turkish Armed Forces has released information on an official visit of Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army Karim Valiyev to Turkey, Turkish Armed Forces tweeted, APA reports.

The official welcoming ceremony of the Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Lieutenant General Karim Valiyev has been held. Karim Valiyev has passed in front of the Honor Guard.

On September 13, the First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Lieutenant General Karim Valiyev, who is on an official visit to the Republic of Turkey met with the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Hulusi Akar and Chief of the General Staff, Army General Yashar Guler.

During the meetings, the sides discussed the development of cooperation in military, military-technical, military-educational, engineering and other fields. The successful development of cooperation between the armies of the two countries, based on friendly and fraternal relations was also stressed.
