“Zangazur corridor will have great importance for Turkey,” said Chief analyst of Turkish Center for Eurasian Studies Kerem Tunjel, APA reports.

“Turkish Foreign Minister announced new Asian policy of the country. New Asian policy shows how great importance is attached to opening of Zangazur corridor by Turkey”, he said.

According to the Turkish expert, enough time will be allocated for establishment of transport-communication lines in the Zangazur corridor: “Zangazur corridor will not be able to replace Baku-Tbilisi-Kars fully, our Georgian counterparts should not be concerned.”

Kerem Tunjel noted Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared that Istanbul Canal will also be constructed soon.
