U.S. Secretary of State Says COP Teams of Azerbaijan and U.S. Collaborate Closely


WASHINGTON — U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has expressed support for Azerbaijan’s hosting of the upcoming COP29 event, highlighting the close collaboration between the COP teams of Azerbaijan and the United States.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Blinken made these remarks during a phone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. President Aliyev acknowledged and praised the strong cooperation between the two countries in preparation for the global climate conference.
