Ukraine threatens Russia with airstrike on Moscow

Zelenskyy administration has responded to threats of the Russian Defense Ministry on strikes on government buildings in Kyiv, threatened with an airstrike on Moscow, APA reports citing UNIAN.

Oleksiy Arestovych, Ukrainian presidential adviser said in his interview that Ukraine is ready for such a situation.

“In addition, as I know their characteristics, I have no doubt that they will strike a blow to signing the peace treaty on the last day, it is Kremlin. However, they have also said that they will also strike a blow to governing bodies, where decisions are adopted. All central apparatus of law-enforcement bodies of Ukraine, Verkhovna Rada, maybe Cabinet of Ministers, or Presidential Administration… We are always ready for it, let’s see,” noted Advisor.

Advisor to Ukrainian President has stressed that if Russia strikes such blows, it will be retaliated and added that Ukraine has “perfect” opportunities to react.

“We have perfect opportunities to hit Ukraine. And still, we do not use them. It has an escalation degree at any war. If you want to rise escalation, let’s rise,” Arestovych noted.
