Uzbek Ambassador Akmaljon Kuchkarov Ends Diplomatic Tenure in Turkmenistan

ASHGABAT—Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan, Akmaljon Kuchkarov, has officially concluded his diplomatic mission.

According to Trend News Agency via the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, a formal meeting was held between Kuchkarov and Turkmenistan’s Foreign Minister, Rashid Meredov. The discussion centered on reviewing the current state of and future prospects for Turkmen-Uzbek relations, encompassing political, economic, and cultural cooperation. During this meeting, Meredov acknowledged Kuchkarov’s efforts in enhancing the bilateral ties between the two nations and extended his best wishes for Kuchkarov’s future roles.

In response, Ambassador Kuchkarov expressed his appreciation for the support provided by Turkmenistan during his tenure, which facilitated the successful execution of his diplomatic responsibilities.
