Member of the Croatian-Azerbaijani interparliamentary friendship group Veljko Kajtazi sent a congratulatory letter to the head of the Azerbaijani-Croatian interparliamentary working group Konul Nurullayeva on the occasion of Victory Day.

AZERTAC from the Press and Public Relations Department of the ParliamentA member of the Croatian parliament congratulated the Azerbaijani people on the anniversary of the Victory. It was noted that along with the restoration of sovereignty and integrity in the liberated lands in the region, there is an opportunity to ensure lasting peace and security. Noting that the rights of Azerbaijani IDPs have been restored, Veljko Kajtazi recalled the wars in Kosovo and Croatia. He expressed hope that Azerbaijan would ensure a fair and secure transition to a prosperous life for all people and continue to work for the normalization of relations. The Croatian parliamentarian expressed confidence that a political dialogue aimed at caring for all people affected by the conflict and lasting peace would be ensured.

Veljko Kajtazi said he would continue to support Azerbaijan as a friend of Azerbaijan, as well as a member of the Croatian-Azerbaijani interparliamentary friendship group.
