Wheat on Chicago Stock Exchange has risen in price by more than 4% after strikes in Ukraine

Wheat futures rose more than 4% after a massive blow to infrastructure facilities in Ukraine due to possible risks to grain exports, APA-Economics reports citing Bloomberg.

According to the agency, any slowdown in grain sales abroad will lead to higher prices for basic foodstuffs around the world.

For example, on the Chicago Stock Exchange, wheat futures rose 4.4% to $9.1925 per bushel.
