World should fight terrorism conjointly, says Turkish ambassador

The world should fight terrorism conjointly, said Turkey’s ambassador to Azerbaijan, Ismail Alper Coskun.

The ambassador made the remarks during an event honoring the victims of the June 28 terrorist attack on Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport.

Coskun said that following the terrorist attack, Azerbaijan offered condolences to Turkey.

“We express gratitude to Azerbaijan’s president. Each time, after such incidents, Azerbaijan has showed solidarity with Turkey at a high level,” he said. “We would like such bloody events not happen.”

Coskun pointed out that the attack at the Ataturk International Airport was a mean and treacherous act.

The diplomat noted that terrorism is the problem of not only Turkey, but also the whole world.

“The target of that terrorist attack is not only Turkey, but the entire humanity,” he added.
