“Number of global coronavirus cases exceeds 210 million, while death toll 4 million,” said Yagut Garayeva, head of the Disease Prevention and Control Department of TABIB at the briefing of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers today, APA reports.
According to her, most infection cases are still in the US, India, and Brazil: “A sharp increase is observed in infection cases in Azerbaijan over the recent days. I always stress that what is important for us is the infection rate. We see a 23% infection rate today. But the figure was 7% on August 1. A very serious increase was observed over the 20 days.”
