Under the leadership of the victorious Commander-in-Chief of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs professionally perform the assigned tasks in order to speed up the Great Return process and provide security after the Patriotic War and anti-terrorist measures, Ministry of Internal Affairs told APA.

Noted that cleaning the region from weapons and explosives is one of the main duties of the employees of the internal affairs bodies involved in the service. The process of identifying and neutralizing war remnants and sources of danger continues without interruption. On March 16-26, as a result of measures implemented by the police, 64 automatic weapons of different brands, 7 machine guns, 21 rifles, 8 pistols, 78 grenades, 1 time bomb, 1 grenade launcher, 46 lighters, 361 cartridge combs, 33,742 cartridges of various calibers, 6160 shells, 9 bayonets and other ammunition were found in Khankandi city alone.

In addition, during Novruz holiday, the free passage
of persons with permission to the territories liberated from occupation was provided. There have been no illegal incidents regarding the persons allowed to move in the region.
