Azeri Light crude dips to $86.11UN expert emphasizes importance of Baku Initiative Group in fight against France’s colonial policy

Baku: The price of a barrel of Azeri Light crude oil decreased by $2.03, settling at $86.11.

“Azeri Light” crude oil price reached its lowest level on April 21, 2020, at 15.81 US dollars per barrel, and its highest price was recorded in July 2008, at 149.66 US dollars per barrel.

“The Baku Initiative Group is an important platform for conveying the voice of people from the regions that were victims of French colonial policy to the world,” Carlyle G. Corbin, an independent expert of the UN Special Committee on Decolonization, told APA’s Turkish correspondent.

He noted that more initiatives should be put forward at the international level to discuss the current problems.
