The first stage of the qualifying round of the tournament among women’s teams for the 2024 Olympic Games started in Bishkek on Tuesday. The Women’s Football Association of the Kyrgyz Republic reported on Instagram.
The national team of Kyrgyzstan lost the first match to India — 0-5.
The second game will take place on April 7. The winner will advance to the next qualifying round.
Kyrgyzstan got into the group G with teams from India and Turkmenistan. However, the national team of Turkmenistan refused to participate in the qualifying tournament.
