President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva viewed conditions created at newly renovated Nizami Ganjavi Park

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva have viewed conditions created at the culture and recreation park named after Nizami Ganjavi after a major overhaul, APA reports.

All conditions for recreation of residents and visitors of the city were created in the park which covers an area of 1.2 hectares in Khatai district, Baku.

Landscaping work was carried out, thousands of trees, shrubs and decorative greenery were planted in the park.

“Azercell volunteers” bring joy to about two hundred children

Azercell Telecom, which celebrated the 25th anniversary of its activity, from the first years of its existence, has formed a large charity team “Azercell Volunteers”, consisting of Azercell employees, the Company told APA-Economics.

This year, as in previous years, “Azercell Volunteers” have launched another charity initiative for children on the occasion of the Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year. As part of the campaign “Meet the New Year with gifts from volunteers”, they visited the families of martyrs and veterans of the Second Patriotic War, as well as low-income families, and brought joy by presenting holiday gifts to their children.

The campaign was announced in advance on social network accounts of “Azercell Volunteers”. The charity team, with the support of partners and individuals who joined the initiative, prepared gifts for children from vulnerable groups during a month.

The campaign “Meet the New Year with gifts from volunteers” covered many regions of Azerbaijan. Volunteers visited the families of martyrs and veterans residing in Sumgayit, Khojasan, Khirdalan, Saray, also meeting with the children in Ganja, Barda, Fizuli, Oguz, Shamakhi, Lankaran, Shirvan, Sabirabad, Mingachevir, Gabala, Sheki, Goranboy, and Naftalan. In general, holiday gifts were distributed to about 200 children from different age groups on the occasion of the Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year.

It should be noted that similar campaigns on the occasion of the holiday were carried out by volunteers in previous years. “Azercell Volunteers”, developing charitable traditions in our country for a long time, expresses its gratitude to the partner companies and social network followers who supported these campaigns and encourages everyone to unite efforts in this direction.

Azerbaijani oil price exceeds USD 81

The price of Azeri Light (CIF) crude oil has increased on the world market, APA-Economics reports.

The price of a barrel of Azerbaijani oil has increased by USD 2,32 or 2,94% to stand at USD 81,24.

Azerbaijan’s non-oil export sharply increased in November

During January-November of this year, Azerbaijan’s export has made up USD 19,8 bln, and USD 2,4 bln on non-oil sector, Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication told APA-Economics.

Export in the non-oil sector has increased USD 720,8 mln or 44% in comparison to the relevant period of 2020.

Up to 21 mln. tones of oil produced from ACG this year

In January-November of this year about 31,6 mln. tones of oil (together with condensate) was produced in Azerbaijan, which is nearly 16,5 thousand tones less in comparison to the same period of the previous year, the Ministry of Energy told APA-Economics.

20,6 mln tones of oil production over the republic fell on share of Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli oil and gas fields, 3,8 mln tones (condensate) fell on share of Shah-Deniz gas condensate field.

According to the information, over the reporting period, oil production (together with condensate) over SOCAR made up 7,2 mln tonnes.
