Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has met with the Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States (Turkic Council), Minister wrote on Twitter, APA reports.

“During a meeting with the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States (Turkic Council) Mr. Baghdad Amreyev, we discussed issues related to the 10th meeting of the Ministers in charge of economy of the Turkic Council to be held in Baku tomorrow.

The Business Forum dedicated to Karabakh that will be organized within the framework of this meeting is of great importance for our country,” reads the tweet.

Russian MFA prepares comprehensive report for first anniversary of 9 November trilateral statement

“Any important violations have not been recorded in the zone, controlled by Russian peacekeepers. It is confirmed both in Baku and Yerevan,” said the official representative of Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova at a briefing today, APA’s correspondent in Moscow reports.

“We regularly inform on the activity of Russian peacekeeping contingent, providing ceasefire regime in Karabakh reliably, share our assessments regarding the situation on Azerbaijani-Armenian border, inform on works regarding opening economic and transport relations in the region from our side. In general, statements are released to public and media on mediation efforts directed to normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan,” stressed Russian MFA Spox.

M. Zakharova also said that they will prepare comprehensive material for the first anniversary of the adoption of the 9 November 2020 trilateral statement and complex assessment will be conducted in the material regarding implementation of the trilateral statement.

EIA increases its outlook on Azerbaijan’s oil production for 2021-2022

Energy Information Administration under the US Ministry of Energy has changed its outlook on daily production of oil and other hydrocarbons in Azerbaijan in 2021-2022, APA-Economics reports citing EIA.

The daily production of oil and other hydrocarbons will be 740 thousand barrels in Azerbaijan this year and it is 20 thousand more in comparison to the previous forecast.

According to the forecast of the organization, daily oil production will be 800 thousand barrels in the country in 2022. It is 20 thousand barrels more than the forecast for August.

EIA decreased its forecast on oil prices for 2021

Energy Information Administration under the US Ministry of Energy has decreased its forecast on the price of Brent oil, APA-Economics reports citing the monthly report of the EIA.

The average price of the oil is expected to be USD 68,61 in 2021, which is USD 0,1 less in comparison with the previous forecast.

According to the EIA forecast, this indicator in 2022 is expected to be USD 66,04.

According to EIA calculations, the average price of a barrel of Brent oil was USD 41,69 last year.

According to the report, the average price of WTI is expected to be USD 65,69 in 2021 (according to the previous forecast, USD 65,93). This indicator is expected to reach USD 62,37 in 2022.

Azerbaijani FM calls on intl. community to condemn Armenia’s war crimes

“To ensure a sustainable future, people should have the right to education, and any attack on education should be resolutely condemned by the international community,” Azerbaijani FM Jeyhun Bayramov wrote on Twitter on the occasion of September 9 – the International Day to Protect Education From Attack, APA reports.

“It’s important that we don’t forget Armenia’s responsibility for war crimes it committed with regard to Azerbaijan/i schoolchildren & importance of respecting the right of children to receive an education safely,” Jeyhun Bayramov noted.
