Artillery units of Armed forces of Moldova and Romania conduct joint military drills

The Ministry of Defense of Moldova announced the holding of joint artillery exercises with Romania, APA reports citing press service of the Ministry of Defense of Moldova.

At the Smyrdan training ground in Romania, the joint Moldovan-Romanian artillery exercises “Fire Shield – 2023” are being held. About this decision informs press service of the Ministry of Defense of Moldova.

The department noted that the Fire Shield exercises have been held annually since 2015 and are included in the training plan for the army of the republic for 2023.

The Ministry of Defense clarified that the unit of officers, sergeants and soldiers of the motorized rifle brigade of the Moldovan Armed Forces “Stefan the Great” takes part in them.
