$1.4 million will be spent to study sustainability of water supply in cities.

“Azersu OJSC” required a feasibility study and design of works to ensure the sustainability of drinking water sources by assessing the impact of climate change (droughts, floods, water quality) on them in cities where drinking water supply projects have been implemented and in cities where they are to be implemented. Tender on the issue ended on August 2.

According to the data of the unified portal of state electronic procurement, the tender was won by “Hinal Proje LLC” with an offer of AZN 2 million 440.600 or $ 1,435.6 million. These services were required due to the implementation of paragraph 5.5 of the “Action plan for 2020-2022 to ensure the efficient use of water resources”, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 27, 2020.

Within the framework of these events, the winner of the tender will present forecasts of the population in the areas of application of the project, determine water needs, analyze existing and prospective sources of water supply. With that end in view, hydrological and geophysical studies, hydrogeological surveys, water treatment facilities, geodetic prospecting works, etc. will be carried out.

“Hinal Proje LLC” was set up in July 2021. Director and founder of the company is Ahliman Telman oglu Aliyev. He also founded “Hinal Group LLC” in June last year. In April of this year, “Hinal Proje LLC”, in a consortium with Hydro-Geo Environment Group, signed an agreement with the state land reclamation service for preparation of feasibility studies and design estimates for the construction of a main irrigation canal from the “Maiden Tower” reservoir in the amount of about 1.7 million manats. Information about human resources and material and technical base of “Hinal Proje LLC” is missing.
