Baku: Within the framework of the readmission agreements signed and in force by the Republic of Azerbaijan, 101 individuals were readmitted to the country during August-October of the current year, the State Migration Service said in response to APA’s inquiry.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the State Migration Service detailed that in the period of August-October 2025, they received 108,006 applications concerning the registration of foreigners and stateless persons at their place of stay in Azerbaijan. In addition, during the same timeframe, 25,940 applications were submitted for obtaining and extending residence permits within the country.

The report further highlighted that 2,699 applications were filed for obtaining and extending work permits for foreigners and stateless persons to engage in paid labor activities in Azerbaijan. The Service also noted that during the relevant period, 7,481 decisions were made as part of measures to combat irregular migration.
