Baku: Due to Novruz and Eid al-Fitr holidays, there will be 11 consecutive non-working days in the country in March this year.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Cabinet of Ministers has announced that March 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24 will be Novruz holidays in 2026. As March 21 and 22 fall on Saturday and Sunday, March 25 and 26 will also be non-working days in accordance with the Labor Code.

March 20 and 21 are also Eid al-Fitr holidays. According to the Labor Code, if a public holiday coincides with a non-working day, the following working day is considered a day off. Therefore, March 27 and 30 will also be non-working days.

Thus, March 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30 are non-working days in Azerbaijan due to Novruz and Eid al-Fitr holidays.
