Over the past 24 hours, 1,117 new cases of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) have been registered in Azerbaijan, 1,581 patients have recovered.
According to the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, 15 people have died from the coronavirus.
To date, 603,254 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in the country, of which 574,615 citizens have been cured, 8,070 have died, and 20,569 are actively sick.
Over the past 24 hours, 11,081 coronavirus tests have been carried out.
Also, over the past day, 31,944 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 3 447, the second – 4 198 people.
The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today is 10 869 472, of which 5 117 826 received the first dose of the vaccine, 4 613 676 received two doses, 1 113 970 people received a booster dose.
