Baku: In July, 118 individuals were treated at the Toxicology Department of the Clinical Medical Center due to poisoning incidents.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the breakdown of cases revealed 39 instances of drug poisoning, 47 cases involving vinegar acid, and 4 cases linked to solvent solutions.
Additionally, the center reported 20 hospitalizations due to snake bites, 3 from allergic reactions, 3 from botulism, and 2 from mushroom poisoning. Unfortunately, despite medical intervention, 3 of the poisoned patients, comprising 1 female and 2 males, succumbed to their conditions.
The fatalities were attributed to cases of vinegar acid and drug poisoning, underscoring the severity of these incidents.
