11th Azerbaijan International Insurance Forum Begins in Baku

Baku: The 11th Azerbaijan International Insurance Forum (AIIF-2026) has commenced in Baku today, APA-Economics reports. The event is held with the strategic support of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan and organized by the Azerbaijan Insurers Association (ASA). It spans over two days, from June 24 to 25.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the forum gathers executives of insurance, reinsurance, and brokerage companies, alongside government officials, members of parliament, and representatives from the local insurance market. Participants from over 20 countries, including those from the Caucasus region, Central Asia, Europe, Trkiye, Russia, and CIS countries, are in attendance.

The forum, which attracts nearly 400 participants, features panel discussions on several key topics. These include private pension systems, reinsurance mechanisms in the context of natural disasters, opportunities for joint development of insurance markets among Turkic states, life and health insurance, global trends in insurance brokerage, and professional education within the insurance sector.

The Azerbaijan International Insurance Forum is being organized for the 11th time and is regarded as one of the leading international insurance cooperation platforms in the Caucasus region.
