“From November 1 to December, Amnesty Act has been applied on 1787 prisoners on the Penitentiary Service”, Aynur Sabitova, the head of the Ministry`s Human Rights and Public Relations Department told journalists, APA reports.

“1391 prisoners have been already released. 1023 of them have been sent to their home from penitentiaries, 368 people sent from the precinct-type penitentiary institution to their homes”, she said.
