Over the past 24 hours, 1 406 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Azerbaijan, 1 787 patients have recovered, 18 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on December 5.

To date, 594,994 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in the country, of which 562,786 citizens have been cured, 7,947 have died, and 24,261 are actively sick.

Over the past day, in connection with the identification of new cases of infection, 12,869 tests were carried out.

In Azerbaijan, over the past day, 27 339 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 3,017, the second – 4,363 people.

The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today is 10,702,988, of which 5,098,541 received the first dose of the vaccine, 4,593,278 people received two doses, and 1,011,169 people received a booster dose.
