Baku:The 14th International Acoustic Engineering Forum is set to occur in Baku on October 8-9, attracting acoustics specialists, architects, designers, and construction industry representatives from over 15 countries.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the event is organized by Cinecon, with Akustik Grupp Holding as a co-organizer. The forum will serve as a platform to discuss modern approaches to acoustic design, noise and vibration protection, acoustic comfort, and urban sound environment management.

Participants from countries including Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Germany, Austria, Romania, Turkey, Estonia, the United Arab Emirates, Serbia, and Uzbekistan will attend. A session on architectural and building acoustics will be a highlight of the forum.

Fahrim Guluzade, Director of Cinecon LLC and a member of the MAIF Organizing Committee, noted that hosting the forum in Baku for the first time is a significant milestone. The program will focus on practical projects, such as the acoustic design of the Heydar Aliyev Center, and will cover sound insulation, noise protection, and modern engineering solutions.

The international conference will be held on October 8, with a partner and dealer roundtable scheduled for October 9. The forum aims to foster professional dialogue and create new project opportunities in Azerbaijan and CIS countries.

Guluzade emphasized the importance of addressing acoustics and sound insulation at the design stage due to the rapid development of construction and urban infrastructure in Azerbaijan, particularly in Baku. He highlighted the relevance of acoustics for residential buildings, hotels, schools, hospitals, offices, and public spaces, noting growing interest among developers in incorporating acoustic solutions at the initial design stage.
