16 BEU Students Secure Prestigious ‘Digital Bridge’ Internship and Scholarship

Baku: Students of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have won the 'Digital Bridge' internship and scholarship program, implemented within the framework of joint cooperation between the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Ministry of Science and Education, and AZCON Holding.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, a total of 16 students from BEU's Faculty of Information and Computer Technologies and the Engineering Faculty successfully passed all stages of the competition organized in the field of information technologies. This achievement placed BEU among the top three universities in the competition.

The students will undergo internships from February to May this year at several prominent organizations, including 'AzInTelecom,' the National Artificial Intelligence Center, 'Azerbaijan Airlines' CJSC, 'Azerbaijan Railways' CJSC, 'Azerpocht' LLC, 'Azercell Telecom,' 'Aztelekom' LLC, and the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency.

In addition to the internships, participants will receive mentor support, professional training, and scholarships throughout the program. During these internships, students will have the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real working environment, collaborate with modern digital technologies, and gain experience under the guidance of professional experts. The knowledge and skills acquired are expected to significantly contribute to the students' future career development.
