The “112” hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information about a fire in the mountainous area near the village of Kish, Sheki region, APA reports citing the website of MES.
In order to speed up the firefighting operations and prevent it from spreading to a wider area, the Civil Defense troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, relevant forces of the North-West Regional Center and two helicopters of the Aviation detachment were involved in the fire fighting measures, taking into account the complex terrain of the area. Currently, firefighting operations are ongoing.
