Baku: From February 28 to March 11, a total of 2,225 individuals have been successfully evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan, as reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this evacuation effort included 394 Azerbaijani citizens. The operation facilitated the safe passage of people from various nationalities through the Azerbaijan border. The evacuees comprised 633 Chinese citizens, 293 Russians, 174 Tajikistan nationals, and 137 Pakistanis, among others.

The evacuation list also included citizens from Oman, Italy, Indonesia, Spain, and Algeria, with numbers ranging from 25 to 57 individuals per nationality. Smaller groups included 29 Iranians, 18 Saudis, and 17 Japanese citizens, as well as nationals from France, Germany, and several other countries.

Additionally, the operation saw the evacuation of individuals from countries such as the United Kingdom, Canada, and Brazil, with smaller numbers from nations like the UAE, Serbia, and India. The diverse nationalities of evacuees highlight the wide-ranging impact of the situation in Iran on various international communities.

This humanitarian operation underscores the collaborative efforts of multiple countries to ensure the safety of their citizens amidst growing regional challenges.
