Azerbaijan has registered 2,261 new cases of coronavirus infection (COVID-19), 1,805 patients have recovered, 25 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on October 31.

To date, 531,370 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in the country, of which 494,179 people have been cured, 7,074 have died, and 30,117 are actively sick.

Over the past day, in connection with the detection of new cases of coronavirus infection, 11,697 tests were carried out.

Also, 43 113 doses of vaccines against COVID-19 have been introduced in Azerbaijan over the past 24 hours.

During the day, 31,089 people were vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine, 12,024 people were vaccinated with the second.

The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today amounted to 9,660,868, of which 5,258,418 received the first dose of the vaccine, and 4,402,450 people received two doses.
