In Azerbaijan, over the past 24 hours, 2,500 new cases of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) have been registered, 2,243 people have recovered, 33 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on November 6.

In total, 544,650 cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in the country since the beginning of the pandemic, including 505,767 people recovered, 7,241 people died, the number of active patients is 31,642 people.

Over the past 24 hours, 15,017 tests have been carried out.

Also, over the past day, 42,824 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 6 093, the second – 10 151 people. 26,580 people were vaccinated with a booster dose.

The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today is 9,884,608, of which 4,992,534 received the first dose of the vaccine, 4,426,631 received two doses, and 465,443 people received a booster dose.
