Baku: A significant number of Azerbaijani students are currently pursuing their education in Trkiye. Serdar Gundogan, the Turkish Maarif Foundation’s representative for Azerbaijan, shared during a panel discussion at the “Stratcom Public Forum” in Baku that 27,000 Azerbaijani students are part of the 136,000 foreign students studying in Trkiye. He also mentioned that 20,000 of these students benefit from the country’s scholarship system.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Gundogan highlighted the extensive reach of the Turkish Maarif Foundation, which has a presence in 56 countries. The foundation plays a crucial role in supporting education by providing scholarships to 70,000 young individuals across the nations where it operates.
