Khojavand: A total of 30 families, consisting of 138 individuals, have been resettled in the Hadrut and Girmizi Bazar settlements within the Khojavand district, receiving keys to their new homes. The key handover ceremony saw the participation of officials from the Special Representative Office of the President of Azerbaijan in the districts of Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand, alongside representatives from the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons and Azerbaijan's Mine Action Agency.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, this resettlement initiative aligns with directives from President Ilham Aliyev, marking another phase in the ongoing efforts to relocate families to the Hadrut and Girmizi Bazar settlements. In this phase, 10 families, comprising 47 people, were moved to the Hadrut settlement, while another 10 families, totaling 91 individuals, were relocated to the Girmizi Bazar settlement.
