31st Baku Energy Forum Commences with Global Focus on Energy Security

Baku: The 31st Energy Forum has commenced in Baku, APA-Economics reports. The forum is currently addressing key issues such as energy security, the global energy transition, development prospects for the oil and gas industry, renewable energy sources, and international cooperation.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, officials responsible for the energy sector from Azerbaijan, Trkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Egypt, Moldova, and other countries, along with representatives of international organizations and leading energy companies, are actively participating in the event.

Discussions at the forum are set to concentrate on energy diplomacy, the creation of new energy corridors, the further development of the Southern Gas Corridor, green energy projects, and the future of energy markets.

The forum is scheduled to continue on June 2, with sessions on the second day focusing on gas markets, energy transformation, green energy corridors, hydrogen technologies, and future directions for the development of the energy sector.
