To date, the education sector has been financed for 33.9 billion soms. The Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan provided such data.

Wages and contributions to the Social Fund amounted to 32.8 billion soms. At least 454 million were allocated for meals for schoolchildren, pupils, students of educational organizations, and 70.9 million soms were allocated for scholarships of educational organizations.

About 152 million soms were transferred from the budget for the publication and purchase of textbooks for secondary schools of the Kyrgyz Republic, including for the purchase of Braille textbooks, 4 million soms — for the International Olympiad for schoolchildren, 4.8 million soms — for the Republican Olympiad for schoolchildren and the Republican Olympiad in mathematics.

«At least 1.8 million soms were transferred for testing of applicants for Altyn Tamga certificate with honors. About 114.1 million were transferred for the repair of educational institutions, 14 million soms — for Internet communication in schools,» the statement says.
