Baku: Another shipment has been carried out from Russia to Armenia in transit through Azerbaijan. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, 2,725 tons of wheat in 39 wagons were dispatched today from Bilajari station towards Boyuk Kesik.
To date, more than 44,000 tons of grain have been transported from Russia to Armenia through Azerbaijan, reflecting a significant volume of trade facilitated by these transit routes. In addition to grain, nearly 9,000 tons of fertilizer, 1,136 tons of propane, 133 tons of aluminum, 1,114 tons of coal, and 67 tons of timber have also been transported via the same route.
The transit route has not only been a conduit for imports into Armenia but has also facilitated exports from Azerbaijan. Nearly 15,000 tons of diesel and almost 5,000 tons of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline have been exported from Azerbaijan to Armenia, underscoring the mutual benefits and reliance on this logistical pathway.
