Baku:The 3rd Islamic Finance Forum, organized by the Studying of Economic Resources Public Union (SER), took place in Baku on October 22. The forum began with a moment of silence in honor of the martyrs of the 44-day Patriotic War, followed by the Azerbaijani National Anthem and a recitation from the Holy Quran.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the event featured three panel sessions that addressed the development of Islamic finance, Islamic banking, and the implementation of sukuk, leasing, and microfinance products. Discussions also included professional training and international certification in the field.

The forum aimed to explore global and regional trends, current challenges, and prospects in Islamic finance. It also sought to enhance cooperation among government bodies, financial institutions, academia, and the private sector, while promoting new initiatives to bolster Azerbaijan's Islamic finance ecosystem.

The 3rd Islamic Finance Forum provided a platform for dialogue among government agencies, the financial sector, academia, and key stakeholders in Islamic finance.
