The 3rd Meeting of the Council of Prosecutors General of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States, established in Baku in 2021, was held on 25 July 2024 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan stated, APA reports.

Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev attended the meeting.

Kamran Aliyev announced that the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), scheduled for September 29 to October 2 of this year, will be held in Azerbaijan, and invited his colleagues to participate in this prestigious event.

The event was attended by Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kyrgyzstan Latif Gandilov.

The Parties signed the Declaration of the 3rd Meeting of the Council of the Prosecutors General of the Member States of the OTS as a final document. It was decided to convene the next – 4th Meeting of the Council of Prosecutors General in the Republic
of Uzbekistan in 2025.

The delegation from the Prosecutor General’s Office has concluded its working visit to Kyrgyzstan.
