According to forecasters of the Ministry of Ecology of Azerbaijan, a significant amount of snow fell last night in a number of mountainous areas of the country, particularly in the north, west and north-west.

Thus, the snow height in Gakh was 46 cm, Agdare – 25 cm, Dashkesan – 9 cm, Gryz – 7 cm, Khaltan – 5 cm, Shahdag – 3 cm.

At the same time, the strength of the north-western wind reached 26 m/s in Agdam, 25 m/s in Gobustan, 24 m/s in Terter, 23 m/s in Naftalan, 22 m/s in Dashkesan, 20 m/s in Sheki, Mingachevir and Goychay.

In Baku, the wind force was also 25 m/s. The height of the waves in the Caspian Sea reached 3.4 meters
