6.2-magnitude quake hits Georgia

The magnitude of the earthquake that occurred on Sunday in southern Georgia was 6.2, Trend reports citing the Institute of Earth Sciences and National Seismic Monitoring Centre of Georgia.

The tremors were so strong that they were felt in Tbilisi and Batumi. No casualties or damage.

The hearth lay at a depth of 10 kilometers.

It should be noted that tremors with a force of approximately 3.5 points were also felt in the Azerbaijan Ganja city.
