6 660 of people died as a result of earthquakes that hit Türkiye were foreign citizens, Turkish Minister of Internal Affairs Suleyman Soylu, APA reports.

The minister stressed that the process of identifying the 1,615 people who died in the earthquakes is ongoing. Some of them are citizens of foreign countries.
